Web Development Bootcamp: 3 Projects

August 3, 2018 by jread Leave a Comment

Bootcamp was completed in three modules. Each module ended with a project week, where we built a web app from scratch using the learned technologies. At the end of project week, we would present our creation to an audience. Here’s what I came up with.

Module 1: Front-End Web Development — HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap

Project One: I created a BlackJack game! Don’t place a high bet though, project week ended before I could create the function to win back your money!

Module 2: Back-End MEAN Stack — MongoDB, Mongoose, Express.js, Handlebars, Angular, Node.js, API’s

Project Two: SitePalette aims to make the landscape design process easier for the landscape designer by filtering location and plant characteristics and returning a planting palette ideal for a specific site.

Module 3: Full Stack Web Application

Project 3: Weedmapper does nothing illegal. The goal is for a community of users to pin on a map their local wild edible plants. Users can exchange comments, share recipes, forage together and enjoy the abundance created by nature.
